Avocado toast

Avocado on toast is a delicious, nutritious meal that’s not only easy to make, but quick too!

Avocados are packed full of healthy fats, fibre, vitamins C, E, K, B6 + 9, and minerals potassium and magnesium.

This meal will slowly release energy, helping you feel fuller for longer. It’s so versatile you can add any other topping you like, such as pumpkin, sunflower or sesame seeds, feta cheese, tomatoes…..or anything you fancy!

Avocado toast with radishes and pea shoots

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • real butter (not margarine)

  • sourdough bread

  • Himalayan salt

  • pepper


Put a slice or 2 of sourdough in the toaster, slice the avocado in half and remove the stone carefully.

Once the toast is cooked to your liking, butter it and scoop out the avocado. Either smash the avocado with a fork and smother onto the toast, or slice it and lay it onto the toast.

Season with himalayan salt and pepper and any other toppings you like, and enjoy!
